Ant Wars
This painting document an unconfortable bit of my personal history, When my game involved squishing many ants. I view living things very differantly now but once apon a time in my own little world we were at war. Thankfully my mum stepped in and was very angry with me but made me understand that living creatures arnt toys. I then felt so upset at this new information that i lay on the grass and let the ants walk all over me as if trying to make peace. Oh dear, trouble again. Obviously lying down in an ants nest is not a good idea. This painting is part of a series called brain maize which seeks to identify transformative experiances which have lead to the person i became. This is quite personal but we all have such revalations and lessons we will not forget.
